Foehn Cottage is my go-to place in Twizel. I keep coming back because it has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, free parking, air conditioning. The staff even helped me print important documents. Perfect for my trip!

Friendly owner, independent yet helpful. Relaxing and spacious cottage with updated bathroom, on-site washer and dryer, well-equipped kitchen, and large living room. Personal advice about the area. Super clean with outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and watch bunnies. A must-stay in the area!

The cottage was a great size with good facilities and exceptionally clean throughout. The owners were accommodating in check-in/check-out times and gave great recommendations. The location was perfect for visiting Mount Cooke and the surrounding area. The WiFi was reliable and the shower and bed were comfortable. The locals were friendly and helpful, and the presence of dogs and hens added to the welcoming atmosphere.

What a jaw-dropping loft! The perfect spot to stargaze and see the Milky Way. Great location, especially if you have a car. Super clean with great facilities, fast Wi-Fi, accommodating owners, and friendly locals. Loved the comfy bed, amazing shower, and adorable hens. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Foehn Cottage. the cottage was beautiful and had excellent modern facilities. Philippa, our host, was very welcoming and provided us with great suggestions on places to visit. the location is on the edge of town, offering peace and quiet, but still just a short drive to the main facilities in the center. the countryside in the area is absolutely superb, and we loved that Mt Cook is not far away. This is definitely one of the top places to stay in Twizel. We highly recommend it. Cons: Everything was spot on! 👌.

Stayed at Foehn Cottage for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed it! The cottage was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was quiet and private, yet conveniently close to supermarkets and restaurants. It was a great base for exploring the area, with stunning views of mountains and dark skies for stargazing. Phillipa and Blair, the hosts, were helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Always stay here when I visit Twizel. Love the helpful staff who recommended local restaurants. Has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, parking, kitchen supplies, AC, TV, laundry. Perfect for hiking, fishing, golf, tennis. Great outdoor dining. No pets, non-smoking rooms. Can't wait for my next city break!

The location was perfect, close to the city center yet still surrounded by the beauty of nature. After a long day exploring the lakes and Mount Cook Nature Reserve, it was a pleasure to relax in such a peaceful environment. I have no complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend this place for a truly enjoyable and relaxing experience.
